第九届国际马克思主义美学论坛会议公告

在当代美学的理论视域里，不同国家和民族的审美现代性的比较研究具有十分重要的意义。随着金砖五国的崛起，特别是中国近三十年来社会现代化的快速发展，与英国模式不同的现代化道路和不同的审美现代性的比较研究具有了重要的理论意义，为了交流不同研究成果，寻求不同学科、不同研究方法在比较审美现代性领域的对话，由英国杜伦大学、中华美学学会马克思主义美学专业委员会、中国浙江大学、中国延安大学共同组织的“第九届国际马克思主义美学论坛”预计将于2021年4月12日-14日在英国杜伦大学举办（疫情原因将采用线上模式），现将有关信息公告如下：

一、 会议主题：比较审美现代性：对话及相关理论

具体相关议题：

       1.中西审美现代性的比较研究

       2.马克思晚年思想中的美学

       3.文明的冲突与对话：审美现代性的视角

       4.不同文明背景下的现代悲剧观念

       5.文化习性与审美现代性的差异

       6.审美教育在不同民族现代化过程中的功能差异

       7.审美治理与比较现代化

       8.批评家的功能：比较研究

       9.时尚研究的比较研究

       10. 其他

The Ninth International Forum on Marxist Aesthetics

Durham University, UK, 12th, April, 2021

It is of excellent significance to conduct a comparative study of aesthetic modernity in the context of countries and nationalities from the theoretical framework of contemporary aesthetics. With the rise of the BRICs countries, especially the rapid development of social modernization in China in the past three decades, a comparative study has crucial theoretical significance to measure the various models of modernity that are different from the British experience. The Ninth International Forum on Marxist aesthetics, jointly organized by Durham University, Committee of Marxist Aesthetics, Chinese Society for Aesthetics, Zhejiang University of China, and the Yan’an University of China, will be held in Durham University from 12th to 14th, April, 2021. (Due to the Corona Virus, the forum will be held online.)

Theme: Comparative Aesthetic Modernity: Dialogue and Theories

Topics may include but are not limited to:

-Comparative study of aesthetic modernity between China and Western Countries.

-Aesthetics in Marx’s thoughts in his later years

-Conflict and dialogue of civilizations: from the perspective of aesthetic modernity

-The ideas of modern tragedy in the context of different civilizations

-Differences between cultural habits and aesthetic modernity

-Functional differences of aesthetic education in the process of modernization of nationalities

-Aesthetic governance and comparative modernization

-The role of critics: comparative studies

-Comparative study of fashion research
